Supplies for Arleta Pech WATERCOLOR Workshops

Arleta will supply a different study pattern for you to trace each day of the workshop,

so there is NO drawing required to take this class. This helps you to learn techniques

for painting realism and the Color glazing with NO stress, come laugh & learn allot.

Paper: Arches 140lb. Cold Press 1 sheet 22" x 28" (PLEASE)

You may tear to 1/4 sheet size no stretching needed)

You will want a couple of lightweight boards to tape your paper to,

Cardboard or foam core work great and can be cut to apx. 11” x 14” size.

Tape: I use scotch magic tape to paper to board
(buy in office supply stores)

Palette any brand -large flat mixing areas are best

Paint: Winsor Newton Artist's Colors (for best results)
My colors are all transparent colors:

Hookers Green,

Antwerp Blue
Quinacridone Gold

Ultramarine blue (green shade)
New Gamboge
Permanent Rose

Scarlet Lake

Burnt Sienna

Perm. Aliz. Crimson

Brushes:

Two - Princeton Synthetic Golden Taklon Angular Wash Series 4350AW

One # 6 kolinsky round brush, with a good point and spring when wet

Kneaded or plastic Eraser

4-H pencil
Blow dryer

Paper towels

A tub to hold water.
